Windsurfing Lesson #1 – Adult
Whether you fancy giving a new sport a go, looking for a hobby, looking for a unusual gift for someone’s birthday; this is the session for you. Under the guidance of our qualified and experienced instructors you will get a great introduction into the sport and what you can achieve.
Learn to Windsurf – Part B
Learn to rig and launch your kit, develop the skills to sail upwind and downwind plus the art of rescue to become a self-sufficient windsurfer. This course works towards the RYA Start Windsurfing certificate. Part A is the first half of the Start Windsurfing and needs to be taken before part B. Part B can also be classed as a refresher course for those who have taken their Start windsurfing course before.
Intermediate Windsurfing – Non Planing
Approximately 20 hours of sailing experience after the RYA Start windsurfing is the time to move on. Here we introduce you to the beach start, harness technique, improved tacking and gybing with the emphasis on individual coaching.You will learn postions and control that are essential to get you started with planing and getting you to look better. After the course you will be able to sail on all points of sailing in stronger winds, using beachstarts and faster tacking and gybing.
