This course works towards the RYA Start Windsurfing certificate. Part A is the first half of the Start Windsurfing and needs to be taken before part B. Part B can also be classed as a refresher course for those who have taken their Start windsurfing course before.

RYA Start Windsurfing

Learn to rig and launch your kit, develop the skills to sail upwind and downwind plus the art of rescue to become a self-sufficient windsurfer. This course works towards the RYA Start Windsurfing certificate. Part A is the first half of the Start Windsurfing and needs to be taken before part B. Part B can also be classed as a refresher course for those who have taken their Start windsurfing course before.

What’s included?
All course costs include safety equipment, waterproof clothing and qualified instructors

Do I get a certificate?
This course follows the syllabus of the Royal Yachting Association Start Windsurfing course and the certificate is included in the course cost. A handbook to refresh your memory is available after the course to purchase.

All courses are subject to sufficient numbers and suitable weather conditions and are non-residential.  In the case of insufficient numbers being booked you will be notified in the week leading up to the course and offered an alternative date.
